単語のカテゴリー判断課題で生じる干渉効果

The present study reexamined the interference and facilitation observed in the word categorizing task (Glaser & Glaser, 1989). In this task, the subjects were required to name the category of a target word, ignoring a distracting word. The result of the present study showed that interference was observed even when the response generated by a distracting word was the same as that generated by a target word. This interference was not observed in Glaser & Glaser (1989). This result suggested that the interference in the word categorizing task might be affected by the processing before response selection stage.
