Abstract

This note is a short report on the activity of the Young Researchers Committee of the Japanese Psychonomic Society (JPS) launched in late 2013. As the highlighted activity of the committee in 2014, we held the satellite oral session of 33th annual meeting of JPS. Eight finalists selected from 28 entries made presentations on their studies. One of the finalists who got the most votes was awarded as the Young Psychonomic Scientist of the Year 2014. The committee will continue the activity in order to promote research and educational activities in Psychonomic science.
