In the present note the revised definitions of important terms, such as electrolysis, rate constant of electrochemical reaction, polarization and limiting current, were proposed. Further some new terminologies, that have not yet been adopted by CTCE, are newly proposed. They are as follows faradaic current, non-faradaic current, depolarizer, reversibility off electrode reaction and potential-controlled and current-con-trolled electrolysis.
