Secretory carcinoma of the breast is rare and commonly found in juveniles. We experienced two adult cases of the disease in 50- and 48-year-old women who underwent radical operation. Only eighteen patients with secretory carcinoma including these patients have been reported in Japan. Lymph node metastases were recognized in five (33.3%) of 15 patients. Two died of recurred breast cancer. The prognosis of this disease is not so good in Japanese women, though that in other women in foreign countries is reportedly good. The optimal selection for surgical intervention according to the general rule for breast cancers and following adjuvant chemotherapy are necessary for secretory carcinoma.
