Abstract
The author conducted experimental lessons using “Scratch”, which allows programming with a combination of visual objects. The purpose of programming education is to foster the formation of a programming way of thinking. If this is encouraged, it is presumed that students' attitudes will change. To confirm this assumption, motivation and mindset surveys were conducted both first and during the experimental lessons, and the survey results were verified.
