The present document summarizes the achievements of Osaka City Institute of Public Health and Environmental Sciences in the field of water quality examination and water research from ca. 1970 to ca. 1985.
The document covers investigative and advanced research related to pollution control of river water and biological and chemical monitoring of the water environment in Osaka City.
