Abstract
This paper, analyzes meteorological facsimile broadcasts(JMH) and their receiving system, which is an optional usage function of the HIMAWARI system. Radio-facsimile transmission is a means of broadcasting information about weather and sea conditions in eastern Asia and the western North Pacific, in a pictorial form of surface and isobaric charts etc. for use of Weather Services in Japan and abroad, and ships at sea. In this study, JMH's weather facsimile can be received by adding a whip antenna and a HF receiver to the HIMAWARI receiving system, these facsimiles are overlaid with HIMAWARI's cloud pictures on the computer display. This picture overlay In addition, system is very useful for individuals such as farmers who are not professional weather experts, because it clarifies the relationship between actual clouds and the weather charts.
