Long-term Analysis for RC bridges health based on a remote monitoring system

Abstract

   We have developed a remote monitoring system using some new sensor systems for RC bridges health. Our long-term trend analysis based on our remote monitoring system shows two strong correlations; one is between the strain of main girders and the traffic density of heavy vehicles, and another is between the strain of main girders and the air temperature. The result may enable us to detect of bridge-features change using the disagreement with the correlations. [This abstract is not included in the PDF]
