Abstract

       The satellite and aerial remote sensing technology is the high expected methods to collect geographical information widely, promptly, and periodically. This report shows the overview of our comprehensive investigation for the use of remote sensing technology in large-scale disaster assessments with various examples of recent disasters caused by earthquakes, tsunami, rainstorms, volcanic hazard and so on.
