Abstract
This study shows the effects of a heat storage floor employed in an outside insulated building with southern attached greenhouse. As the air in the greenhouse was heated by winter solar radiation, it1s circulation was caused by it1s buoyancy. The heat from the circulation air obtained from solar radiation was stored in the second floor slab when the air passed through the first floor ceiling plenum. The thermal performance of the heat storage floor is described in this report ; we compared the effects of the warm air circulating from the greenhouse with one that had no warm circulation.
