The author has devised a new method to differentiate or integrate a-c input signal in a special a-c amplifier employing no particular demodulator. The derivative or integral action is generated by feeding to a capacitor-resistor network the half-wave voltage proportional to the a-c input and by applying various positive or negative feedbacks to the amplifier. Being so simple, stable and flexible, the circuit is expected to have a wide variety of effects in application.
