This study explores the contribution of information technology to the interaction between art and humans. Art is an environment in which the artist and the viewer interact with each other. Through a review of prior research, we found that the relationship between art and people has been considered interdisciplinary through a variety of means. Particularly in interactive art, human-computer interaction has played an active role. This paper concludes with a discussion of interactivity in the exhibition of art works.
