Abstract

Nets an some other constructions were so firmly set intertidal region as to resist fierce waves of rough sea and served as collectors of the spores liberated from the growing in that region. Once settled, the spores repeatedly undergo exposure to air and submergence in water in natural habitats. Instead, the spores thus collected were kept submerged in long duration by way of transferring the collections to some suitable bays where they were either set afloat or kept horizontally sunk in water.
