抄録

It is pointed out that there is a reason to doube A_IKAWA and K_ONISI'S assumption on the exsistence of pairs of main and secondary year rings on the scale of Japanese sardine. Except fpr the first ring, which may be really of the secondary nature, each of the others seems to be an year ring.
