Abstract
A 67-year-old man with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) had received the fourth transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) therapy in our hospital. He had complicated acute cholecystitis 4days after TAE, biloma 32 days after, cholecyst-jejunum fistura 44 days after, common bile duct stones 34 days after, intrahepatic bile duct stones 61 days after. These complications were treated by an immediate non-surgical therapy and he lived for 912 days after TAE. Early and correct diagnosis of these complications is important to select appropriate treatment.
