In this experiment only the b-classed rabbits were used in order to minimize the individual difference of the liver power. If yakriton was used in the amount of _??_ R. A. U. per kilo of body weight 2 hours later than the subcutaneous injection of chloroform (Pharm. Japon. IV Edit.) in 0.2 c.c. per kilo of body weight, then most of the yakriton animals survived much longer than most of the controls in spite of daily chloroform injections. Yakriton can thus also therapeutically detoxicate chloroform.
