Abstract

It has been affirmed that removal of the coeliac ganglia acts also in rabbits to increase the sensibility against insulin, and to decrease that against adrenaline in regard to their glycaemia action, but the effects do not continue long, rather definitely shorter than the doubly splanchnicotomy, the double suprarenalectomy, in respect to the insu-lin matter.
