Abstract

Little has been reported on the relationship between body weight and hematological and biochemical parameters in toxicity studies using cynomolgus monkeys; therefore, this study was performed to analyze the relationship more extensively. The relationship in cynomolgus monkeys in the control group (95 males and 95 females, 3 to 6 years old) in a 4-week toxicity study was quantified comprehensively by Pearson or Spearman correlation coefficient. In conclusion, the relationship between body weight and hematological and biochemical parameters was clarified in this study.
