Abstract

In mountainous areas, food delivery services contribute not only to the food supply but also the life support such as watching and having conversation with elders. However, the sustainability of these services is generally low because it is costly to provide them in the mountainous areas where it is less and sparsely populated. In this paper, public-private partnership for improving the sustainability is examined by field survey and the role sharing model is proposed. Then, the usefulness of this model is verified in specific area in terms of cost and break-even point analysis.
