JSB started satellite broadcasting by BS-3a at the end of Nov.1990. A higher qaulity video and audio is required for satellite broadcasting. To this effect in our new building we installed a total digital sysytem, composite digital video and AES/EBU format audio. As the quality obtained is extiemely satisfactory, we would like to report about digital distribution system which is one of our systems.
