Recently workstations and personal computers has audio/visual devices. So that we can handle multimedia information easely. Also the requirement of easy computer operatlon are getting increase for computer beginners. So we propose the electorical catalog system which can use easely. This paper describes the electorical catalog system using realtime JPEG image compression and decompression unit on a local area network environment. This catalog system has a function of multi media presentation with the same period between audio data and video image data with network data transfer functions.
