Here, the outline of the advanced 3-D image telecommunication project is presented, which started on October 1992 and has continued for 5 years, organized by TAO (Telecommunication Advanced Organization of Japan). Although the term "telecommunication" is included in the project tytle, the research of 3-D image display is weighted for the reason that the technical progress of dynamic 3-D image display is slow. In this project, several bread-board models will be constructed, and 3-D images will be appraised by observation.
