Oguranodonta ogurae gen. et sp. nov. is described. This new genus with O. ogurae as monotypy differs from Anodonta (Sinanodonta) complex in having the strongly undulated sculpture on the umbonal area and distinguished pronouncedly erected wings on the dorsal margin in younger stage.
