Abstract
Riboflavin-2', 3', 4', 5'-tetrapalmitate and riboflavin-2', 3', 4', 5'-tetrabutyrate were tested by dietary survey using male albino rats. The latter was found to promote the growth of the test animals and to prevent ariboflavinosis. The growth potency of the compound was found to be in nearly the same level as free ribofiavin. However, the former was found to have very low growth activity.
