Abstract
Vitamin assays are classified into biological and chemical methods. A microbiological assay in the former class and a high-performance liquid chromatographic assay in the latter are widely used presently. A assay is carried out for the determination of the vitamins in foods or clinical samples. We adopt an appropriate assay depending on the purpose. These assays are not completely settled and remain problems to be solved.
