It was proved by the present experiments that, by utilizing the new method of quantitative determination, concentration of glucose can be obtained fairly accurately in a solution containing less than 0.315mg. in 10cc. The purity of a glucose solution, therefore, can also be determined to this amount. This has allowed the assumption that the amount of glucose in blood could be determined with 0.1cc. of blood, from which protein has been removed and made into a 10cc. solution.
