マキバブラッシノキの葉の成分

Examination of the constituent of the leaves of Callistemon rigidus R. Br. (Myrtaceae) revealed the presence of cineol and a kind of triterpenoid, C₃₀H₄₈O₃, m.p. 322°, [α]_D¹⁴: +40°, which was found to be identical with melaleucin, the constituent of a bark of Melaleuca leucadendron L. (Myrtaceae), by mixed fusion and measurement of the infrared absorption spectrum. Its acetate, m.p. 298-299°, C₃₂H₅₀O₄, methyl ester, m.p. 231-232°, C₃₁H₅₀O₃, and acetate of methyl ester, m.p. 217-218°, C₃₃H₅₂O₄, were also prepared.
