Stability constants of the complexes formed between alkaline earth metals and three types of citric acid were determined by the ion exchange method using 45Ca, 90Sr and 133Ba. Results obtained were listed in Tables I and II.
Comparing these results with those of biological studies, it was suggested that the values of KSr/KCa were more important than the stability constants themselves for the effective excretion of radioactive strontium from living body.
