抄録

In continuation to the previous paper, by the Ullmann reaction of D-(-)-1-(p-methoxybenzyl)-2-methyl-6-methoxy-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydroisoquinolinol-7 (I), as a starting material, with bromobenzene to the corresponding phenoxy derivative (II), an opening reaction of the structure with metal-Na in liq. ammonia was carried out, and derived to l-1-(p-methoxybenzyl)-2-methyl-6-methoxy-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydroisoquinolinol (III).
It has been chemically identified to be D-type.
