Sulfur (VI) fluoride exchenge (SuFEx) is a family of click chemistry which allows conversion of phenols or amines to their respective fluorosulfates. Although SuFEx is a powerful tool for functionalization of phenols, this reaction has several problems. This review focused on recent improvements and advances in SuFEx chemistry.
