Our new product, Hybrid Ultra-Sonic Flow-Meter, have solved the issue that the conventional Ultra-Sonic Flow-Meter can't measure the flow which includes the ultra-sonic reflector such as air bubbles. Through the development of this product, we have tried to develop the image of this product design before building up the technology. This project was supported by cooperative works of engineers and designers. This style of development broke the traditional development process. As the result, this developing process is very effective to reduce the developing term comparing with past developing process.

Although the Japanese Character consist of a form of a brush fundamentally, the softness was lost after spreading a digital font. This is based on digitaled data that sense of incongruity is more impressed by its detail shapened and liner portion, as compared with phototypesetting character. Compared with progress of DTP etc., Japanese fonts have many characters such as 7000 or more characters. For this reason, time is behind development. As one of graphic designer, font development of Original Engineering which can use for advertisements (printed matter, TV, etc.) and an editorial relation orthodoxly widely is planned. We developed an application software called Thinking-Sketch. This software is for "creating design images through the mutual interaction between human user and computer." ThinkingSketch is differed from existing research on image generating software with the point that user can control the behavior of computer program. On a graphic editing tool, we equipped an image layouting feature using random numbers. User can control the rules on how to apply the random number to layout. By changing parameters, user can easily get another series of different images with different tastes. Before the image generation, user creates seed patterns with free hand mouse operation. These seed patterns will be modified and placed with above rule, and thus user can semi automatically generate various design images. (figure 1)

In the coming age of digital multi-channel TV broadcasting, it will be very difficult for viewers to choose which of the many programs available that they most want to watch. This is especially true with longer-running narrative programs, like movies, in which case it is difficult to convey the essentials of taste and emotion with only text-based program guides, and where the risk to viewers is especially great when purchasing from pay-per-view channels. To resolve this problem, this study proposes a narrative program browser, intended for use with movies and other programs that are based on a rich and varied story line. The program browser enables viewers to select programs intuitively by watching trailers, thus enabling a new way of viewing and enjoying programs. As the basis of this research, studies were conducted on the Semantic Score (SS) Method for describing the cognitive constructs of movie viewing and on a video summarization algorithm based on that method.
