  • 実験住宅における通気量の実態把握

    Most exterior walls of wooden residential buildings in Japan have vented air space between the exterior cladding and the insulation, which is designed to dehumidify the exterior walls by discharging humidity to the outside and taking outdoor air into the walls, with the purpose of decreasing the risk of condensation in exterior walls in winter. Several studies have been carried out on the vented air space, and the most effective thickness for dehumidification has been determined. However, most of these studies have only investigated the performance of vented air spaces under laboratory conditions, and the characteristics of vented air spaces in a field environment have not been clarified. The driving forces of the airflow in the vented air space are the buoyancy force due to the temperature difference between the outdoor air and the vented air space and the wind pressure. However, few studies have dealt with the influence of wind pressure. Since the velocity and the direction of the wind change irregularly, it is difficult to estimate the ventilation volume due to the wind. The objective of this study is to survey the ventilation volume through the vented air space and to investigate the effect of the driving force of the ventilation, which are buoyancy force and wind. Measurements have been carried out on the vented air space in an experimental wooden house that has several types of vented air spaces. The correlation between the ventilation volume and the driving force was discussed.

    This paper describes the measured results on carbon dioxide concentrations in 27 temporary houses in summer and winter in Sendai city after half a year of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The carbon dioxide concentrations in temporary houses were high generally. In summer, the median value in 7 temporary houses (26%) and 75% tile value in 20 temporary houses (74%) exceeded 1,000 ppm. Moreover, concentrations in 17 residences (63%) exceeded 5,000 ppm, and highest was about 11,000 ppm. In winter, the median value and 75% tile value were both higher than that in summer respectively. Although ventilation is effective to reduce the indoor carbon dioxide concentrations, temporary house where air volume is small, when an open type combustor was used in winter, indoor carbon dioxide concentration might exceed 10,000 ppm.

    For bathtub four planar shape, about the movement of the water in the tank of the conditions provided in the central portion of the water tank obstacle conditions and inflow and outflow basic, evaluated using the Morril index, the index short circuit study pharmacological water through the tank model advancing, the following findings were obtained.
    (1) Evaluation of low ordered planar shape tub Morril index was square ( oblique inflow and outflow<rectangle<square<circular).
    (2) Experimental conditions Morril index and short index of the lowest basic inflow and outflow conditions is on the surface of the water inflow.
    (3) Conditions provided in the center of the vessel to obstacle Morril index is lower than that of (RUN3) base inlet.

    Generally speaking, heat source capacity of HVAC system is designed by maximum thermal load calculation method. Considering peak thermal load of the buildings emerge only a few days throughout the year especially in highly insu-lated buildings, heat source tend to deteriorate its performance due to partial load operation. The purpose of this study is to propose new design method for highly insulated buildings. Firstly, operational state of existing HVAC systems in Hokkaido during winter was clarified. Second, case studies on operational state of heat source and indoor temperature using EPS-r were carried out.

    The thermal simulation method for the air-conditioning system using floor-chambers in a residence was developed and verified the validity as shown on the Part 2. In this paper, heating load was analyzed using the thermal simulation, a methodology of which was shown on the Part2. The simulation was performed for the experimental residence shown on the Part 1 and for a model residence. As one of several results, difference is found in heating load between the air-conditioning system using floor-chamber and the conventional one. Some useful knowledge in designing the air-conditioning system using floor-chamber was shown by that thermal simulation.

    This study clarifies the summer performance of a floor heating/cooling and desiccant cooling system utilizing solar heat energy based on field measurements and discusses the precision of a numerical simulation model. It was found that the system-COP during the field measurement was not good due to poor performance of desiccant cooling unit, and this should be improved. The numerical simulation model was validated by comparing the calculated results with the field measurement results.

    In this study, we carried out future projections of the thermal environment in the summer of the 2050s in the Nagoya metropolitan area by introducing scenarios of urban planning/structure in addition to the effect of future global warming, and we investigated the impacts of future urban planning/structure on the thermal environment. Here, three urban planning/structure models (centralized and decentralized models, and a plan to avoid tsunami damage) were introduced. Furthermore, for the future urban planning/structure models, we considered the reduction of urban areas due to the predicted decrease in population, and investigated the change of the thermal environment with the reduction of urban areas.

    In this thesis, the abundance of the timber offcuts of felling per one year was calculated as a test, and the amount of CO2 emission reduction when those were burnt in substitution for fossil fuel was calculated in the forest of Nagano prefecture. A CO2 emission reduction effect when the moisture in the timber offcuts was reduced was calculated as a test. Following results were obtained by researches.
    1. The amount of the timber offcuts felling per one year were quite 1,006,000 m3/year in the forest of Nagano prefecture.
    2. When one log is burnt, The amount of CO2 emission reduction when it is burnt after a log was left in outdoor depository has more quite 17 kg-CO2/log than when it is burnt as soon as it was felled
