Kaihara Co., Ltd., a denim fabric supplier locating in Hiroshima prefecture, expands its business and builds strong reputation as a global high-quality denim fabric manufacturer after it started supplier contract with a US-based apparel company, Levi Strauss. This article describes the process of business development of Kaihara, in order to show some implications on the possibility of domestic enterprises growing through international expansion.
