ジャーナル フリーThe main object of this paper is to analyze, being connected with the historical backgrounds and goals of agricultural co-operatives in each period, the historical change of the schemes, which have been mainly proposed by the National Federation of Agricultural Co-operatives (ZENCHU), to promote the amalgamation of agricultural co-opratives.
The major results are as follows:
(1) The first scheme to promote the amalgamation was established in 1961 by the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (NORINSHOU). The Federation was behind in a responce of this issue.
(2) It was in the early 1970's when the Federation had decided to promote the amalgamation at the national level. As a result, many amalgamated agricultural co-operatives, which were expanded in the size of organization and that of activity, had emerged.
(3) However, in the latter half of the 1970's, the emphasis moved toward standardizing the size of co-operatives. It was considered that the Federation had to modify the basic direction of activity in accordance with economic growth at a slow speed. Then we observed the stagnant tendancy of the amalgamation.
(4) Since the latter half of the 1980's, the Federation has been promoting the amalgamation to deal with new circumstances, which surround co-operatives, for example the severe competition in financial market.
(5) According to the historical analysis, we can suggest some important issues of the amalgamation of agricultural co-operatives as follows: 1. the amalgamation maintained and strengthened the organization of co-operatives, 2. the amalgamation issue was placed on the well-established position in connection with various functions of cooperatives, and 3. the amalgamating sheme was equipped with the support by administrative office.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (1714K) -

ジャーナル フリーThe purpose of this paper is to study the mechanism of economic growth and the socio-economic structure through a case study of advanced rural area in the suburbs of Shanghai, China.
We give a brief outlook on the area and make clear the significance of this study. We analyze the change of rural structure, especially paying attention on changing roles among the Communist Party of China (CPC), local governments, and economic units. Also, we discuss the mechanism of rural economic growth.
The main conclusions are as follows:
In advanced rural area in China, the rapid economic growth is mainly realized by the progress of the non-agricultural sector, which is composed from collective economic units. If we are allowed to ignore the effects of macroeconomic policy, we can conclude that the rural economic growth is essentially caused by the transform of socio-economic structure. More interestingly, the relationship among CPC, local governments, and economic units has changed from the chain of command to the coordinating system. ジャーナル フリーThe purpose of this paper is to study the aero transportation of vegetables and fruits from the viewpoint of economics. I give a general view about the aero transportation system and its developmental process. Also I cover its background, advantages, and disadvantages.
The advent of aero transportation can be considered as the new phase of competition among production centers. I propose the conditions which make possible the establishment of production center under aero transportation. Then I clarify that the choices of marketing strategies by three production centers which conduct aero transportation are reasonable. Other findings are as follows:
(1) In the three production centers, the conditions are satisfied. Strictly speaking, only Fukuoka prefecture has the absolute superiority in “petit Welsh onion”.
(2) The demands for “petit Welsh onion” and “greeen perilla (ouba)” are increasing. So the aero transportation of these products from Kochi and from Kochi and Ehime appeal out of other products.
(3) The aero transportation of “common mushroom” to Nagoya from Ehime is reasonable out of both products and markets. However, the demand of “common mushroom” is at the stagnant stage and its price is declining. So the production center will face a deadlock.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (1365K) -
