  • 親しまれている幼児期の造形遊びの応用を目指して

    This study demonstrates the possibility of enlivening the expression of fine art without compunction. It does so from the perspective of practical research rather than from that of methods working directly on the expression of linguistic or visual stimulation. The study verifies the specific 'Creative Activities' that focuses on the perspective of surrealism, with its evocative power of images that are linguistically and visually free. To do this, the study tests the validity of a methodology that facilitates the acquisition of new representations and greater tractability using the device of analogies to aid the viewing of works of art.

    As a result of verification by investigating with the "toothbrushing picture", I found that there were the "Expression Type" also in the time from the infancy to the childhood.
    What I have focused on this verification is that, the one who expresses in the "Haptic Type" starts drawing from somewhere related to the physical perception such as "tooth, mouth or toothbrush".
    In addition, even though the completed picture indicated the characteristics from the "Visual Type", it can be considered that the physical perception is working more than visual perception if the starting point of the drawing is around the mouth. In this case we have classified it to the "Medium Type".
    Another consideration is that, despite the fact that the "Haptic Type" can be called in case that tactual perception other than visual perception works more, it is also assumed that there are some cases that the one other than tactual perception is prioritized. Therefore, in this research, I do not use the term "Haptic Type" but us "Un-Visual Type" instead.
    In this article, I have studies and classified with the characteristics of expression and the starting point of the drawing on the "toothbrushing picture" and clarified that the "Visual Type" which prioritize the visual perception, "Un-Visual Type" which is based on the perception other than visual's and "Medium Type" which has both characteristics existed in each development stage from the infancy to the adulthood.

    We carried out a survey using questionnaires of art appreciation education which were given to elementary school teachers all over the country in 2014, as well as to junior high school teachers in 2015.
    From an analysis of the result, we found that many teachers wanted an index of goals and guidelines for the evaluation of art appreciation education. So, to encourage better art appreciation education, we made "the common rubric for art appreciation" and "the rubric for appreciation of each art work". Then we observed six classes practiced by utilizing those rubrics in kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools and observed the effect. In the study, it was confirmed that those rubrics can help teachers when making goals and planning the class contents of art appreciation. And it was effective for teachers to reflect on and improve their teaching methods.
    As the next research stage, we will reconsider the validity of level setting in the common rubric and propose the procedure of making "the rubric for appreciation of each art work" for teachers to spread and develop art appreciation education.

    The purpose of the study is to prove the relevance of judgement of involvement degree in the drawing activities of five-year-old children. We extracted four examples from the drawings instruction to five-year-old children and measured the validity of the involvement degree using a criterion for efficiency rating with the plural teachers of the kindergarten. As a result, the validity of the examples that we extracted was confirmed. Furthermore, the effect of the training by the video watching in the kindergarten workshop was proved to some extent, too.

    The purpose of this research is to investigate the art appreciation education implemented in primary schools during the war, based on 'Practical Art Appreciation' described in "Japanese Art and Pictures Drawn by Children" authored by Hideo Nishida and published in 1944 during World War II.
    This research was analyzed in detail and the practical art appreciation implemented by Nishida described in the 3rd Charter 'Japanese Art and in the Eyes of Children's of "Japanese Art and Pictures Drawn by Children," where various interactive art appreciation activities implemented by Nishida was recorded. In this description, children appreciated fine arts through a childish and simple way of looking at things just the same as the children of the modern age and yet at the same time, they expressed their remarks while showing influence by the education received during the war time. However, in the pictures drawn by them after education in appreciating fine arts, the expressions that they used to confront objects in a serious manner were found, and little influence of the war was felt in their impressions. From this fact, it was clarified that, in children's art appreciation activities, some viewpoints were intrinsic and some were formed by the education at the time.
