Clinical Result Not so remarkable changes were confirmed in body weight, temperature, blood pressure, respiration, puls rate, heart sound, blood picture and roentgenogram. Urobilinogen and urobilin reactions in urine were temporarily positive after sensitizations, but the former showed no difference compared with the control. Ecg. in the most of all rabbits showed generally low voltage, but CPR. (Cor-Phosphatid-Reaction) in the cases was continuously positive. These facts suggest some myocardial damage. Tuberculin test on all animals showed a pretty high tuberculin-allergy.

Ecg. showed generally low voltage and especially low or reverse T, which suggested myocardial damage. Serologically, PPR. (Pulmonum-Phosphatid-Reaction) before and after the reinjection were positive. ARTHUS's phenomena by a mixture of oxen sera and rabbit-lung-phosphatide and by the former alone were positive, but by the latter alone negative.

According to the new membrane theory of Wilson, the potential of a given point without heart is determined by the solid angle subtended by activated heart region to that point. So it is important for analysis of electrocardiogram and ventricular excitatory process to measure the solid angle subtended by activated heart region to each leading point. But I have not ever seen the literature in which the potential at leading point was gotten by measuring the solid angle actually. In this paper, the solid angles subtended by unit area to various points to lead were measured dividing the ventricular surface in 94 unit areas in total and the potentials at various points to lead were calculated from equation described as follows. V_b≒φ/kΩ V_b is the potential at a given point on body surface. k is a coefficient concerning dielectric constant e. Ω is the solid angle subtended by activated heart region to that point. The solid angle Ω can be obtained from equation Ω≒(S・cosθ)/(r^2) S is a area of equivalent double layer. r is a distance from leading point to the center of equivalent double layer. θ is an angle made by outward normal at the center of equivalent double layer and the line from leading point to that center. Relationship between the heart position and thorax of cadaver having had no heart disease was measured by autopsy. Then the plaster models of that heart and thorax was replaced in their position. On this heart-thorax model, θ and r were measured at various points to lead namely the points by Vectorpolyography, Schellong-Toyoshima's-, spatial-vectorcardiography and unipolar lead electro-cardiography in frontal, sagittal and horizontal plane. Then potential at various points to lead was obtained from equations above mentioned. The application of this results to clinical electrocardiography and vectorcardiography shall be reported in the second part of this report.

Only when dye-density is same in fairly small mixing gradient of it, change of whole blood volume can be infered from the comparison of dyedensity in case of such condition. After proving this proposition the author investigated the change of dye-density of blood in rabbits stated in part I. and showed (1) increase of whole blood volume (2) increase of blood depot in accordance with the disturbance of cardiac function.
