In this research in female junior college students (N=192), the change in clothing behavior from early childhood to adolescence was investigated by assessing several factors on clothing behavior. The relationship between individual differences in clothing behavior in early childhood and the subsequent clothing behavior was determine by looking back over their clothing behavior according to age. Then, how looking at photos of themselves for each developmental stage affects tracing their memories of clothing behavior was examined by using ANOVA. Overall, clothing behavior from early childhood to adolescence was associated with various factors. As they became conscious of other people, their clothing behavior was changing : the students were sticking to their identity and pleasing appearance, and wore trend-conscious clothing. From the standpoint of individual differences in early childhood and the subsequent change, the clothing behavior in early childhood continued to impact on awareness of gender and economy until they became students, while sticking to the identity, pleasing appearance, and trends were changing without impact of the clothing behavior in early childhood. The difference in awareness of gender or trends, and in economical choice of their clothes was observed between students who looked at photos and those who didn't. Looking at photos would help to bring back memories and lead to objective decisions.
