After having been studied and researched to JIS A 5308 (Ready-mixed concrete) published at March 2009, JIS A 5308 was partially revised further by the amendment (revision). The draft of the amendment (revision) of the JIS A 5308 : 2011 was prepared in the JIS A 5308 Revision Research Committee as some results of the committee's activities for fiscal 2010. The amendment covers four issues that urgently needed revision : Clarification of the definition of transportation time ; introduction of environmental labels, promotion of the use of sludge water for waste reduction (usage with a solid content of sludge less than 1% measured by the sludge water usage method with low-content ratio) ; and addition of normative references.

Recently, lithium ion pressurized injection method has been spotlighted as the repair method of concrete structure which deteriorated by ASR. In this study, the effect of lithium ion on ASR expansion was investigated. The elemental analysis of the ASR gel sample to which lithium ion had been supplied as also performed by using SEM, EPMA and TOF-SIMS. The change of the physical form of the ASR gel due to the supply of lithium ion was not found by SEM observation. However, the elemental analysis by TOF-SIMS enable to obtain the element mapping of the lithium ion in ASR gel. Furthermore, the elemental analysis by EPMA and TOF-SIMS demonstrated that lithium ion by the pressurized injection method has extended to the ASR gel.

Generally, quality of precast concrete is stable at high level, because precast concrete is manufactured at the authorized precast concrete plants. This paper showed the outline of the authorization system of precast concrete plants, and an example of the latest quality control method. Moreover, this reported the result of study on applicability of electromagnetic induction method for the inspection of cover depth of precast concrete, because opportunity of measuring cover depth of RC structure of the site operation by an electromagnetic induction method will increase from now on.

In this study, I examined development of concrete for pavement that I used the general materials that a traffic opening was enabled in a day between the curing period. The placeability and the serviceability were good when they found proportion by laboratory tests and carried out test placement.

This paper is on the shotcrete method added Thixotropy which can have materials transport for long distance by low pressure in using light weight hose. Existing technology was however not able to transport the concrete in long distance. This developed shotcrete mortar has the characteristics for long range transportation in adding Thixotropy. The contents of this paper include the technical summary of this method, the characteristics for long range transportation in adding Thixotropy and the laboratory test results on the materials quality that can apply to various cases. Further the procedure of the execution and the application example are shown in this paper.
