Es wurde der Einfluss des Bors auf das Wachstum der Weizen durch Gefassversuch untersucht. Der Boden ist feinlehmiger mit pH 6.7 und die Varietat der Weizen ist Saitama Nr. 27. Die Vegetationszeit dauert 24. XII. 1938-13. IV. 1939. Zusammenfassend die Resultate ergab die vorliegende Untersuchung das folgendes : 1) Bei der Borzugabe mehr als 66.67 v. M. (p.p.m.) waren die Samen nicht mehr keimungsfahig. 2) Wahrend am Anfang der Vegetation kommt das Wachstum der Weizen in den Gefassen mit kleinen Bormengen bis 3.33 v. M. hinter den der Kontrolle, holten sie die Kurze in der spateren Vegetationszeit ein. Bei der Erntezeit zeigten die obenangegebenen Pflanzen reichere Ernten, besonders an Kormern, als die der Kontrolle. 3) Die Giftwirkung des Bors ist schon bei 6.67 v. M. zu bemerken, und bei 20 v. M. ist es recht betrachtilich. 4) Die Borzugabe mehr als 20 v. M. lasst das Aehreschiessen betrachtlich verspatern, unter denen erscheint kaum der Einfluss des Bors. 5) Der C-Gehalt der Pflanzenteilen ist folgendes : [table]Also ist der Einfluss des Bors auf den C-Gehalt nicht viel bei Korn, Stroh bzw. Blatt. Bei den Wurzeln aber mindert das Bor den C-Gehalt entsprechend der zugegebenen Bormenge.[table]Bei Stroh und Blatt wachst die Borzugabe den N-Gehalt. Bei Wurzel die Bormenge von bis 6.67 v. M. spielt keine Rolle auf den N-Gehalt, aber von 20 v. M. an vermehrt sich plotzlich der N-Gehalt.

Experiments were conducted to study the effect and mechanism of sulphide on paddy rice and barley, of mineral pollution soil. The results obtained will be summarized as follows. (1) The sulphide of soda and lime sulphur solution precipitated soluble copper, lead, arsenic salts, to defence its mineral pollution. (2) The sulphide of soda were less effect than lime sulphur solution on paddy rice, but on barley , here effect to be contrariness. It to consider that the paddy rice conform to acidic reaction, but barley to neutral reaction, and sulphide of soda have tendency among soil to acidic, bnt lime sulphur solution gave alkaline reaction to soil. (3) The continuing effect of sulphide to difference by minerals and soil condition, copper sulphide easily oxidized to sulphate by air and moisture, and pad soil state more stable than field state. Sulphide of lead and arsenic sulphide more stable than copper sulphide.

We studied the effect of lime and organic fertilizer (mamure and soybean cake) on mineral pollution soils, and the results summerised as follows. (1) The mineral pollution soils were almot acidic, so that lime has been Suitable effect to control of its, but on paddy rice, excess of lime were decrease its products. There seems that soil reaction be come too alkaline to paddy rice growing. The suitabble quantity of lime to be concider about 3 kan per a. (2) Organic fertizer as manure and soybean cake not profit to paddy rice on mineral pollution soil, especially the case of exist of sulphide. But on barley not deleterious effect so paddy rice but increase its production.
