In the previous reports we explained on abbreviation (=abb.) methods of Japanese company-names (the name of enterprises; =cn.). In this report we have discussed on abb. of foreign cn.. In the expression of the foreign cn.sometimes we are thrown into confusion and we met troubles. By studying the causes of theses troubles, we present a solution for those cases. Further we have discussed about abb. methods according to the previous reports, and shown that it is necessary for abb. and its utilization-: 1) to clasify by countries, 2) to give noted enterprises specified codes, as informations about them are issued internationally and as their volume are generally big, 3) to take an abbreviated code from "words" as a least classification-this is good like the abb. methods previously reported, 4) to prepare a dictionary of abb., which contains-words to be abbreviated, unifying method of principles to select words, abb. by types of corporated enterprises, notes and cares in abb., 5) to investigate further cn., its common names and its history.
