    (I)
The following conclusion was obtained after the studying on the lipids of the 52 healthy human testes and epididymis for the every parts of ages.
    (1) For the last part of embrional period and in younger childhood, very small amount of fine lipid granules were observed in Sertoli cell and indifferent cell. Increasing in its amount while growing, it raise gradually in adolescence and higher in mature stadium and reached to the greatest amount of big fat droplets in old stages. When spermatogenesis and differentiation of seminiferous epithelia were started around adolescent ages, lipid precipitation of equal amount in spermatogonium and spermatocyte (greater in the former) occured and increased year by year but not so remarkable like Sertoli cell. Lipid precipitation in fibroblast of basement membrane was obtained in the same way of these, but not recognized in spermatid and spermatozoon.
    (2) Precipitation of lipid of Leydig cell was moderate for the last part of embrional stages and decreasing conspicuous after birth, it was not present temporarily in younger stages, suddenly increased before adolescence reaching at it's maximum in 38 years of age and gradually decreased after 45 years of age. Lipid precipitation in fiboblrast-like cell of interstitial tissue was likewise of these.
    (3) In few cases of young ages and all of following ages from adolescence, the lipid precipitation of fibroblast in tunica albuginea and tunica vasculosa was seen, and in cases in which I observed Leydig cell there was always lipid substances.
    (4) In rete testis, ductuli efferentes and ductus epididymidis, no lipid was observed at the end of the embryonal stadium and in most cases between birth and adolescence and it was observed in all cases from adolescence to old ages. The greatest amount of lipid precipitation was seen in ductuli efferentes among these three.
    (5) As Lipid granules which are positive in Schiff's reaction, Ashbel-Seligman's reaction, cholesterine lipid-reaction and birefringence are found in Sertoli cell, fibroblast like cell of interstitial tissue and epithelial cell of ductuli efferentes after adolescence, I suppose that these cells may participate with Leydig cell in hormonal function and that Leydig cell and fibroblast-like cell are in close relation.
    (6) Number of Leydig cell is not always in accord with the distribution of precipitated lipid in old ages and so the fact that some cases with comparative many Leydig cell have less amount of lipid shows the decreasing tendency of secreting ability of Leydig cell in old ages. It seemed to me that the presence of lipid of Leydig cell in embryonal period is under the influence of maternal chorionic gonadotrophin.
