It has been frequently reported since old times that various kinds of phenomena occurred as precursors of earthquakes. For example, some kinds of radiation and abnormal behavior of animals have been reported. The relation between these precursors and earthquake is not yet made clear scientifically, rather the reports are considered unscientific and unreliable. However, it is a fact that many have been reported. If such phenomena of precursor occur truly in connection with earthquake, those reports are valuable information for predicting earthquakes. On such a point of view we are trying to develop a method for getting objective and highly reliable information on precursor phenomena. In this study, we made clear the characteristics of those information at first, and developed a prototype system of collecting, storing and analyzing the information by using computer technologies such as Internet and database. Consequently, we found it is very useful to get those information of objectivity and highly reliability widely and quickly. We report the results and consider on how we can get a system more effective to make use of those information.
