The attitude of a plane or a line is fundamental to the description of geologic structures. We have developed a Windows software, Kyoto Untilting Tool, to rotate orientation data. We were motivated to create the software for the bedding-tilt correction of fault-slip data, but it is useful to deal with other orientation data including paleocurrent directions. The software firstly reformats character string such as 'N30W20E' to numerical data, which are secondly rotated about an arbitrary horizontal axis or the vertical one. Specifying the strike line of strata in which the orientation data were obtained as the rotation axis, the bedding tilt correction of the data is performed. The angle of rotation can be determined by the percentage of dip of the strata.
