    Flame retardant materials in OA instruments, AVC instruments and other electronics products have been used in market as biggest consumption in Japan. In this paper, I would like to introduce the kind of flame retardant materials and flame retardant technologies in this application together with specifications and practical consumer requirements.

    In the first section, the method and objective of research project was described. The style of research project was discussed in relation to speed of progress and efficiency of activity. In the following section, the merit and demerit for the construction of custom-built apparatus was discussed, especially for a chemist. Although the construction takes time, there is a possibility to get deep understanding of the principle of measurement and limitation of instrument both of which are extremely important for the evaluation of the raw data.
