In March 2013, the Central Disaster Management Council (Cabinet Office) announced "Damage assumption of Nankai Trough Earthquake (Second Report)", and in May "Measures against Nankai Trough Earthquake (Final Report)". However, in the final report, the only information on tsunamis was "List of maximum tsunami heights by prefecture and municipality (Appendix 1-2)". There was no tsunami forecast data for the addresses (specific areas) of thermal power plants. In April 2002, Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) started operation of the “hazard map portal site”. In June 2018, the new hazard map portal site "Overlapping Hazard Map" was completed. It has a "risk display by address search" function that displays "power station location" data and "maximum tsunami inundation depth" data.
This study consists of four parts. First, analyze the relationship between damage and recovery period of thermal power plants due to earthquake motion and tsunamis in the Great East Japan Earthquake. Second, use the "overlapping hazard map" to predict damage to thermal power plants due to ground motion and tsunamis from Nankai Trough Earthquake. Third, simulate the transition of recovery. Finally, analyze the power supply structure after Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster, which highly adds weight to toward thermal power generation.
The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of “vicarious experiences” that enhance the self-efficacy of nursing students in practice of adult nursing. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 69 students who completed the practice of adult nursing at Faculty of Nursing, A University. As a result, four factors were extracted from the "vicarious experiences". They are 1 “relationship with respected patients", 2 “development of nursing by other students", 3 "education of patients toward reorganization of life" and 4 "nursing practice by certified nurses". It is found that the first three factors are directly related to self-efficacy, while the last factor, which nursing students rarely experience on their behalf, is also intimately related to self-efficacy, but in a different way.
Les Misérables, written by Victor Hugo, a writer who was also a republican politician, has many adaptations like musical shows, literature for children, cartoons and animations. Considering the fact that quite a small number of studies have been made to make clear the connections between the original work and its adapted versions, this article focuses on the various adapted counterparts of Les Misérables, especially in the field of literature for children and musical shows. And then to understand characteristic features of adapted counterparts of Les Misérables, comparison will be made with some equivalent works of The Happy Prince of Oscar Wilde and Anne of Green Gable of Lucy Montgomery.
In recent media, amount of information related to food is remarkable. There is a flood of information about food on TV and the Internet 24 hours a day.
Tabelog, a restaurant guide in Japan, occupies a central part of widespread information about food. Tabelog is a site that the general public attaches importance to when choosing a restaurant, and its ratings have strong influences on operating results and profits of restaurants. However, various problems such as ambiguity in the rating method and existence of fake ratings and buzz marketing - both aiming at intentionally improving evaluations - have been pointed out.
The purposes of this study are to discuss the gourmet evaluation situation before and after Tabelog, to compare and discuss the positive and negative aspects, and to consider the future direction.
