This paper is to introduce why P2M was born in Japan but will be eligible to international community. P2M was born in the late 1990s in a process how to breakthrough plant and machinery industries and engineering companies which were placed in difficult situation despite their relatively superior technology and engineering capability. That is why the Japan-based project management which only deals with an individual project in case of the U.S.-born PMBOK, linked logically to the group of projects, or program, making project and program management. Similar situation may exist in the continental Europe and other areas, Asia in particular. It may well be implanted in such area like Asia in accordance with Economic Partnership Agreement between Japan and ASEAN countries, etc. Academic contacts with many international business school seeking new lecture contents will make fruits both P2M stakeholders and them. Also, of vital importance is to deploy IP strategy as much as possible in the future integrated P2M operation world-wide.
Change of the environment around the company has become rapidly and radically. Under this circumstances, the organization of the company has tendency to change from hierarchical and steady form to flexible and horizontal form. Especially innovative firm or market oriented firm need to change toward such form. Project organization is one of the structure to respond with this movement. This paper discusses about the management of the project organization.
It is clear that collaboration is key factor for increasing the assets of a corporation and for extending the value-chains of the products. In this paper, the authors would like to institute roles of the program management in the area of the collaboration business domain. After collaborated enterprise project management is defined using a collaborating model for organizing a structure, several research themes are presented. We hope that this paper stimulates members in the P2M community to pay attention to this challenging research area.
昨今大學環境は世の中の急激な変化に伴い変化を余儀なくされている.そのような環境変化の中で,本論文は大學における授業の取り組みをプロジェクトと捉え,P2M(Project&Program Management for Enterprise Innovation)の概念を導入し,P2Mに基づいて授業開発プロジェクトを実践した結果を報告するものである.同時に実践を踏まえて今後の課題と方策の提言も併せ行う.
