One of the authors, Nagasawa, has devised two types of developmental thermography, three-sided thermography and panoramic thermography. They are techniques for taking thermograms over various sides of a subject simultaneously in one frame as a developmental image, and they have many advantages in medical application. The authors have recently developed new equipment adapted to a conventional thermocamera to allow it to take each of the two types of developmental thermogram for any part of a subject. This paper reports on the structure, the function, the uses and the clinical applications of this quipment.
