Seasonal changes of bacterial dispersion from human body surface were found under the fully air-conditioned environment. Airborne bacteria dispersed from human body were sampled by Reyniers modified slit sampler for 148 times. The number of airbone bacteria in summer was the largest and significantly different from that of other three seasons(p<0.05).Numbers of airborne bacteria in spring and autumn were nearly identical. That of winter was the smallest and significantly different from all other seasons(p<0.01). Bacterial dispersion in winter was approximately one fifth of the number in summer, and its standard deviation was the smallest in all seasons. Spesies of airborne bacteria and their percentage dispersed form human body were Staphylococcus aureus 0.1%, coagulaee negative staphylococci 36.8%, micrococci 30.6%, gram-positive rods 30.6%, gram-negative rods 1.7%, yeasts and fungi 0.2%, and others 0.1%.Airborne gram-negative rods were identfied as Moraxella, Pseudomonas paucimobilis and glucose non-fermenting bacteria.
This paper describe about the development of 2 cylinder type blood pressure calibrator that is able to calibrate the pressure sensibility of transducer and the balance of some amplifiers.This calibrator improved by Surgical center of Kagoshima university is not necessary to electric power source or battery and the special environment by the pressure measurement.The calibrator is composed to connect the standard cylinder and the calibration cylinder.The standard cylinder is a chamber of constant air volume, and the calibration cylinder is the disposable cyringe of a small internal diameter.The accurate pressure of the calibrator occurs to compressed air of the atomosphere in the cylinder by the variation of one stroke.The acuuracy of calibration and the utility by 2 cylinder type blood pressure calibrator is better than those by mercury manometer or water manometer. And as this disposable calibrator is packed with the sterilization, it is possible to use this calibrator without anxiety of the hospital infection.
The effects of temperature and dose rate differences during gamma irradiation, and those of temperature differences during storage time between irradiation and dose measurement were examined with radiation sterilization process control dosimeters for disposable medical products.No appreciable effect on the response of Ceric-Cerous dosimeter was observed by the different dose rates used in this study(0.03,0.11,0.46 Mrad/hr). The same phenomena was observed in Red Acrylic dosimeter and Perspex.The dose response of Ceric-Cerous dosimeter, Red Acrylic sosimeter, and Perspex has been found to depend on the temperature increasing during irradiation. And, the measured values of Red Acrylic dosimeter and Perspex after irradiation were strongly changed with the temprature increasing of storage time.
Moire topography is the most reasonable method for objective measurement of three dimensions.Cardiac contraction patterns were analized by this method in left atrial pacing and right ventricular pacing. The earliest movement area in the moire fringe well consisted with the earliest excitation area in the epicardial mapping.
