This study investigated the actual situation of System of Small Chartered Schools in Ishikawa Prefecture, and organized the process of introduction at each school. In addition, we identified the method of commuting to school, commuting support, changes in the number of students, and the percentage of students commuting from outside the school district. Based on the above survey results, a classification was made and future issues were organized. In addition, it is likely that in the future it will be more important to understand the barriers and challenges for schools to continue to exist after the introduction of the system, rather than the conditions for an increase in the number of System of Small Chartered Schools.
