金沢大学の前身、旧制第四高等学校の旅行部に関する研究報告第八回の本稿では、大正一二年一二月に発行された旅行部機関誌『BERG＝HEIL』創刊号の編集人・北上四郎を取り上げる。『BERG＝HEIL』創刊に当たって寄せられた、編集方針に対する在京旅行部ＯＢからの申し入れをそのまま受け入れるのではなく、譲れぬ一線を守って刊行を断行した北上の姿勢は、アルピニズムを志向する近代登山団体としての四高旅行部の性格を決定づけたと言える。ここに現れた北上の登山思想を、『BERG＝HEIL』第三号に掲載された論文「登高考」を参照して分析するとともに、その思想実践としての北上の登山のあり方を、『BERG＝HEIL』創刊号掲載の「晩秋の薬師から鎗へ」及び同誌第四号掲載の「笠ヶ嶽紀行」に探り、登山をスポーツとして「科学的」に捉える登山家・北上四郎の実態に迫る。

In the past，there has been criticism that the heroines in Miyazaki's films were only portrayed as cheerful，wholesome，strong-willed，sexually indifferent and untroubled women，as expected by men．It is suggested that The Witch's Delivery Service（１９８９）was produced to dispel this image of women．This film was groundbreaking in that Miyazaki created an image of a girl hero，an image rarely seen before，where the heroine helps a boy．Although a girl hero helping a man is physically independent，how is this independence evaluated from a spiritual standpoint? When women help men，they are forced to do so，and this may be seen as a mentality of dependence on men．This paper examines this issue from The Witch's Delivery Service and Miyazaki's later works．

This study details the formulation of experimental materials pertaining to semiconductors and their subsequent implementation among international students. The experimental documentation titled "Exploring the inside of a pn junction diode"　conducted at the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Ishikawa College, has been translated into English. Notably, the refinement of the experimental apparatus has resulted in a more streamlined version compared to its predecessor. Additionally, this investigation addressed the maintenance of a constant temperature within the thermostatic chamber encompassing the diode because of the time-intensive nature of temperature control. Three graduate students from Universiti Teknologi Mara，Malaysia, actively participated in the prepared experiment and subsequently provided feedback through a questionnaire. One noteworthy suggestion emerged from this feedback, proposing that the comprehension of this experiment could be enhanced if video demonstration were to accompany the instructional material.
