ジャーナル フリーAs a method to make greater improvement for radiation therapy it should be investigated upon the combined treatment with some antitumor agents in different fields.
An attempt was made to determine whether lymph node cells from C3H/He mice are capable to produce cellular antitumor activity against spontaneous mammary carcinoma of imbred mice.
Mouse abdominal macrophages were sensitized by cultivation with the supernatant fluid which obtained from culture medium of mouse mammary carcinoma 16 hours after irradiation, and lymphh node cells were sensitized by mix-cultivation with the sensitizing macrophages.
Sensitized lymph node cells inhibited in vitro multiplication of target tumor cells, and also in vivo growth of tumor which implanted into thigh muscle. Tumor growth of mice treated with irradiation and sensitized lymph node cells was inhibited remarkably, and 40 of them regressed tumor disapparently.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (644K) -

ジャーナル フリー?The coronary artery perfusion is usually performed during aortic valve replacement. It is controversial whether both right and left coronary arteries should be perfused. Some surgeons insist that the perfusion only of left coronary artery is sufficient, insisting the better surgical field.
Authors
perfused experimentally the left coronary artery, checking the pressure changes in the right coronary artery. Our data showed the right coronary artery pressures didn't show any significant changes when the left coronary was perfused under the high pressure. These results suggested that functional intercoronary anastomoses between the right and the left coronaries were not sufficient in normal dog hearts in spite of the anatomical existence of intercoronary anastomoses.
Authors concluded that the both coronary arteries perfusion is recommended during aortic valve replacement, One coronary artery perfusion cannot supply sufficient oxygenated blood to the other side of the heart muscle through intercoronary anastomoses.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (2242K) -

ジャーナル フリーWe had a need for a reexamination about the first class symptoms by K. Schneider. Because clinical experience showed us that even auditory hallucinations were not able to confirm under certain circumstances. Therefore we made an attempt to get a supplementary method out of psychopathological examination on the other hand.
We got to work on a research about the variation of handwriting pressure. The variation come into a curved line on a recording paper.
The highest pressure, lowest pressure, handwriting time and the area (enclosed by the line) come to the decision as the objects of this investigation. Main subjects are schizophrenic patients. The handwriting time only was different from contrast in consequent of stochastic treatment.
Next, we made an attempt to get the characteristic and repeatedly variation on the curved line. Main subjects were auditory hallucinants of schizophrenia at this time. Consequently, we got sight of a dent on the line, and named this dent as Okyokuha(means a sharp wave become dentet as a needle) for the present.
Recently, we noticed other variations on the line. There were pointed wave and sharky wave. We are able to get the idea that these three characteristic waves come into view as a settled combination correspond with the psychopathological state.

ジャーナル フリーSural nerve biopsy was carried out in eight patients with Duchenne type progressive muscular dystrophy.
The light microscopic examination revealed the thinning of myelin sheaths and the widening of Schmidt-Lantermann's incisures in four patients. In these cases, silver impregnations showed the beading and fragmentation of axis cylinders.
In quantitative nerve fiber study, the diameters of myelinated fibers were smaller than those of normal in two patients out of four examined. But the apparent loss of nerve fibers was absent.
In teased-fiber study, many myelinated nerve fibers were seen to have thin myelin sheaths. Fibers undergoing segmental demyelination or axonal degeneration were not seen.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (2827K) -

ジャーナル フリーWe had had fairly good results of alcohol block administered to 95 cases who had been suffering from intractable neuralgic pain among 1, 000 patients at our sanatorium.

ジャーナル フリーUpon vaginal smear and cellular phenomena called pregnancy label, which appears through a series of terms, considering from the view-point of the condition of sex hormone, we researched as to the possibility whether they would give any reaction to elective induction of labor or not.
For the valuation on hormone-cytology, we used the index which was published by George L. Wied at Vienna in 1970 and obtained the following results refering to Bishop's Score in order to infer the knowledge of delivery.
From 32w. to 35w. of pregnancy, the condensation of cells is remarkable and the average price of the index is as follows:
Above mentioned results show what fix the average price and keep hormone balance evenly. The average price of the index from 36w, to 36w, is the same as the previous results, but comming to 36w. the index trembles more or less.
Comming from 39w. to 40w., th eindex shows the rise of K. I. price but the descent on N. I. price, and we can find the cells which show isolation. These are infered what have the important value on the elective induction labor.
Comparing the index of elective induction of labor with that of National Pregnancy, it shows about 10% on K. I. price and E. I. price to 38w, , but getting near to the delivery, it shows 15% or 30% rise of them and below 79% on N. I. price as well.
From these views, hormone index which makes elective induction of labor possible is the case when both K. I, price and E. I, price show above 15% and below 69% on N. I, price, and also the separative cells appear.
If we can find these conditions in the vaginal smear, it is infered that the elective induction of labor would be possible.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (4032K) -

ジャーナル フリーAuthors reported 80 cases of recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy with 47 males and 33 females, admitted to the otorhinolaryngological clinic of our hospital during past 8 years. The peak of age distribution was at the sixth decade and paralysis occured more frequently on the left side than the right. The causes of palsy were; pulmonary disease was 21, surgery of the neck was 10, tumor in the neck was 8, intubation anesthesia was 6, intrathoracic surgery was 4, paralysis by C. N. ジャーナル フリーThe patient was a boy of two years easily delivered. As congenital ileus was suspected an the 4th day after birth, he undertook laparotomy at Surgery of Tottori University School of Medicine. Diagnosed as meconium ileus due to the fullness of meconium in the flexura lienaris, he took colostomy at the colon transversum. The closure operation was performed after approximately 1 year, but subsequent 2 weeks, the fecal fistula was developed. Being uncurable, however, he was discharged. Afterward, in the diagnosis of occlusion ileus, he was excluded of feces under general anesthesia in our clinic and undertook barium enema, which revealed the stenosis of the upper part of the colon descendens. Regardless of frequent exclusion of the feces, the obstinate constipation continued. As the atrophy of disuse was suspected in the intestinum colon which remained disused for a year, the hemicolectomia sinistra adding the fecal fistula was carried out. The oral area of the resected colon transversum was diagnosed as origoganglionosis and the anal area (colon descendens and sigmoid colon) as aganglionosis. Histologically, long segmental aganglionosis was apparent. The postoperative course was uneventful. ジャーナル フリーA disintegration test was performed on two different marketed dextran sodium sulphate tablets according to the testing method of “Japanese Pharmacopoeia 8”. Solutions of two different pH values: pH 4.1 and pH 7.1, were employed for this test. Firstly, it was confirmed that with pH 4.1 solution these tablets fit as the enteric tablet. Then the test was followed by pH 7.1 solution until disintegration was completed. Because the rate of disintegration and its completion time were not accurate, the dissolution test was added to determine the dissolution state of major ingredients.
The test employed was colloid titration method which used in the quantitative assay of high molecular ion. The experiment revealed that 95% of the ingredients of both products dissolve in about a half the time required in the disintegration test and also that in case of the disintegration test the changes observed are describable only in general terms whereas in the dissolution test they can be expressed specifically in percentage and moreover the completion time of dissolution could be more clearly detected than in the disintegration test.抄録全体を表示PDF形式でダウンロード (328K) -
